So here’s the “analysis” and “conclusions” part of the ongoing OreImo showings. Hopefully I’ll be able to churn one of these out each weekend following the movie showings and such. Gee, it sure is hard sticking up for a crappy series trollface;
So I’ve gotten pretty good at doing the combo challenges on Blazblue Continuum Shift. Here’s three videos on it: Tager, Tsubaki, and Tsubaki no screen. To be honest, I was surprised I could do the combos without the screen on. That doesn’t mean I’m any good though; my experience playing against human players is… 3 Xbox live battles and playing my brother. Then score attack practice: I beat it with Tager fairly, then someone told me about pressing start on a 2nd controller, and I used that to beat it with Lambda and Mu.
So, let’s put all the theories aside for now and analyze Madoka.
I know, I know. Talking about theories is fun, but it’s not something you should do for a long period of time. Or you will turn into someone like me who can’t just take anything in the world and try to find the (non-existent) hidden meanings from everything.
Hey, everyone. I figured I should take a break from trying to stump Akinator and come do this. I was able to sit in on the entire showing this week, so it looks like I get to do the weekly post again. Huzzah! How exciting.
Last night was a pretty good one. I finally got to see Ore Imo, something I’ve put off because of its being featured, and then I got to see more Eden of the East, which is just great anyway. I sort of feel sorry for anyone who hadn’t seen the series or first movie, though…
Our usual poster, Grant, had to walk out early and miss most of the showing. I bravely and valiantly volunteered to take on this most sacred of duties and ramble about what we watched for a couple hundred words.
This was also our last week in Alderson, so hurray! We’ll have nice seats again! On the other hand, we’re starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for shows to watch. Hopefully Gene has some good stuff planned for us in the upcoming weeks (OreImo and Eden of the East at least ought to be good).
Hey everybody, I just beat Dead Space 2 on Zealot. Seeker rifle, pulse rifle, and plasma cutter master race here. Definitely don’t recommend the javelin gun. Looks like I’m getting snowed in here, so since I can’t go outside (an activity I do so often) and I lost my hardcore account on chapter 5 (died on the part after the crypt) I thought I’d make a post here.
Wanted to talk a bit about the coming weeks in anime club, as well as share a few theories I’ve read/heard about Madoka. I’ve also got an update on Wasabi Con. The club will be busy and active, I hope. For one thing, expect a lot more pictures like the one above. I’ve got a whole folder, after all.
Hi, guys! Are the strike-outs getting old yet? No? Alright, awesome.
At last night’s showing we watched Psychic Detective Yakumo, Katanagatari, and Bakuman, all three of which made for a night which I have heard other people dubbing ‘Boring Anime Night’. While part of me tentatively agrees, I also think that it wasn’t such a bad night. Here are my thoughts; you know where to put your questions and concerns.
Wow, I should post or something. I have been spending all my free time trying to learn more Japanese so I can talk to people. Its so strange living in a place where you can’t read anything; stupid kanji. Well due to one request I’m going to dump some images on where I’m staying. Also, a few of the school.
However, next weekend I’ll be going to Akihabara and will troll some otaku.
Phew! What a way to kick off the semester! Quite a wild ride, right guys? I mean, spectating Amnesia really had me jumping out of my seat…
Wait. We showed anime, too? I don’t believe you.
Alright, I kid, I kid. It definitely wasn’t that bad, and I wouldn’t go so far as to say any of these shows were awful in the slightest, though none of them exactly leaped out at me, either. I seem to keep hearing from a couple of people that they’re looking forward to my rage reviews for the semester. I’m really hoping the forecasts for this season’s shows aren’t totally true, but I guess the showings will tell.
Also, I’m not that picky of a viewer. I mean, Amagami-SS was one of my favorite shows from last year, and I can honestly say I enjoyed every arc. So I’m not too demanding, right? So on with the first impressions.
To remind everyone, the three shows we watched were Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, The World God Only Knows, and Kuragehime.
Remember I said I will post professionals in doujin works again? So here it is. I’m probably gonna do people from the show we watch tomorrow, so I thought I’d post this before it’s to late.
So, today’s doujin work is called 東方奇闘劇. Sorry, I don’t know how to pronounce that.
Anyway, you can watch the video here. It’s actually a series, but only the 3rd one has the voice. It’s a video made by AQUA STYLE. It’s basically a parody of Super Robot Wars, but they didn’t make the parody game. The quality of video is not so great, but the account that posted better one was terminated by YouTube.
