I’m sorry it’s late this week. I’ve been playing Vindictus a lot lately, and that’s why. By the way, that game is so awesome. You should play it if you have time. So, this week’s seiyuu is Wakamoto Norio. Born in the year of 1945. Pretty old guy. His voice is very distinct. When you listen to his voice, pay attention how he ends his lines. There’s always some kind of exhale at the end.

‘Sup, guys! Just Grant again, creating a post about last night’s showing since no one else has done so, yet. As a reminder, the shows we watched for zombie night were Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei followed by High School of the Dead, and we ended with two episodes of Hellsing Ultimate, the OVA.

Like usual, I’ll just give a few of my own comments on each of the shows, and then it’ll be open from there for anyone who’s interested. Here we go!

Black Lagoon

Hiya, everyone! It’s Grant again, this time ‘reviewing’ a couple of anime shows which have been out for a couple of years now: Black Lagoon and Detroit Metal City.

Given that these both have been out for awhile now, I’m going to say there’s a good chance of minor spoilers in my review; however, I don’t plan to reveal anything huge without marking it first. It’s hard to spoil Detroit Metal City, after all, and it’s not as if Black Lagoon has any gigantic twists. Nevertheless, I’ll do my best to keep life-ruining spoilers out of the review.

Note that this is by no means a comparison of the two anime. They are COMPLETELY different shows and I see no reason to bounce them off each other. I just happened to have finished them both quite recently, so it feels better to squeeze the both of them into one post.

Yo, guys! Grant here again, just creating a post about last night’s showing. Again, I’ll just be going over my own thoughts on every anime, and then it’ll be open to idle discussion from there. To refresh everyone’s memories, the three shows we watched were: Arakawa Under the Bridge (Season TWO), Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt, and Shinryaku! Ika Musume.

It seems that the way I title stuff sucks. I wish I had more talent writing stuff, but… oh, well. Writing about seiyuus on Wednesday night after anime club meeting (or rather Thursday morning.) is actually one of my favorite thing to do. I don’t feel like going to bed before doing this, and I may or may not be tired, so please disregard any nonsense that may come up here.

If you thought I was going to do Rena’s seiyuu, sorry, but you’re wrong. This week’s article’s going to be actually about Hanazawa Kana and Asumi Kana, hence the title. (Sorry, I’m not a fun person…) So, the reason I chose those two is because of Black Rock Shooter at today’s showing. Hanazawa-san (she’s older than me, so gotta show some respect. I feel bad for not doing this for Sugita-san, but my thoughts didn’t go that far last time.

Hey guys! Me again, just posting about tonight’s showing, because for some reason I’m not asleep yet. This will probably be a shorter post, since I just want to put out some general thoughts, as opposed to going over all of what I thought of every show. And then I suppose others can just jump in an make comments, supposing you don’t want to make your own topic about it.

To recap, we saw the last three episodes of Arakawa Under the Bridge, Black Rock Shooter (OVA), Cat Shit One (OVA), and three episodes of The Legend of Koizumi (OVA).

And I feel so relieved. So I had this urge to write something because I’m so excited about it! (and something else that you’ll see later.) Since I’m a big Eva fan, I think I’ll write about it. Eva has so many things to discuss anyway. Before going in deep, this may be spoilers, so if you want to see the whole Eva series, skip it. When we had Eva showing, I heard some people (sorry.

HOTD

High School of the Dead

Hey again, guys. I got bored with Economics so I’m taking a little break to review something I just finished today: the first season of High School of the Dead (which may hereafter be referred to as HOTD because I’m a lazy bastard). Now, as I’m assuming I’m one of the later people to jump on the HOTD bandwagon, this review will contain spoilers.

Let me say that again: THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. If you care about this show whatsoever, I would not read this post unless you have already seen the show. I’m going to try and keep spoilers out where I can, but some will definitely get in here, since there are certain things I want to discuss.

[Before I start, sorry, I don’t know how to make it so that only parts are showing before clicking the title. I don’t want to take whole page, so someone please tell me.] I just had a very sad thing, but being able to write here makes me happy, so I’m half okay, I guess. (I’d rather not remember it, so I buried it deep in my heart. That’s how sad I am.
