First, a few Japanese fighting games: Phantom Breaker is coming out June 2nd on Xbox 360 in Japan.  It’s kind of funny that Kurisu Makise is a guest character (see 1:14 in the PV), considering that we just watched Steins;Gate.  Ougon Musoukyoku (the Umineko fighting game) is also coming out on the Japanese Xbox 360 (we all have one of those, right?).  Then there’s Aquapazza, featuring characters from To Heart and Utawarerumono, and other series too.  The first of 4 trailer videos.

Blazblue Continuum Shift II, which will update the console version to the arcade version, is being released in May as free downloadable content.  The character Platinum will be $8 to download.  Tsubaki is better and Litchi’s worse in the arcade version, right?  Because my brother uses Litchi and I use Tsubaki hehe…  Finally, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition comes out as $15 DLC on June 7th for people who already own Super Street Fighter 4.  I’ve been playing it a lot recently, but I’m not that good at it yet.  I’m always up for a match though.

CFW for BBCSII! Wish you could’ve joined us over at Fiji when we were playing Continuum Shift with the sticks, Chaeha kept owning Shannon’s face off until Shannon’s Bang eventually won once or twice. I forget.

Phantom Breaker’s one I haven’t heard about, but looks cool. I don’t have a 360 but I can always borrow Chris’ ;_;

Where was I in this brawl of awesome? I need some scrubs upon which to pwn some face in.

BBCSII sucks according to the competitive fighting community, which makes me sadface. All the people from dustloop are moving to Arcana Heart or MVC3. In terms of tier lists, Tsubaki and Ragna pretty much switched places, Bang was nerfed through the floor, Makoto rapes hard, and Valk is still broken as shit. So Tsubaki is the new autopilot and Ragna sucks ass. My characters (Tsubaki sub and Makoto main) went from shit tier and mid to top and broken. Long combos are pretty much gone too (which makes me sad since my main is Makoto).

It’s all good though, Arcsys announced a new Guilty Gear (=DDDDDDDDDDDDD )and I bought Rift over the weekend. Falling grades, here I come!
